15 For that which I do I know not: for not what I would, that do I practise; but what I hate, that I do.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.
and some save, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbleth not in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; Therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect: but I press on, if so be that I may lay hold on that for which also I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I could not myself yet to have laid hold: but one thing `I do', forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
The faith which thou hast, have thou to thyself before God. Happy is he that judgeth not himself in that which he approveth.
Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that take refuge in him.
Surely there is not a righteous man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
For the good which I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I practise. But if what I would not, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwelleth in me.
But if what I would not, that I do, I consent unto the law that it is good.
A righteous man hateth lying; But a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate.
SAMEKH. I hate them that are of a double mind; But thy law do I love.
Through thy precepts I get understanding: Therefore I hate every false way.
I will run the way of thy commandments, When thou shalt enlarge my heart.
ALEPH. Blessed are they that are perfect in the way, Who walk in the law of Jehovah. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, That seek him with the whole heart. Yea, they do no unrighteousness; They walk in his ways. Thou hast commanded `us' thy precepts, That we should observe them diligently. Oh that my ways were established To observe thy statutes! Then shall I not be put to shame, When I have respect unto all thy commandments.
O ye that love Jehovah, hate evil: He preserveth the souls of his saints; He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.
Who can discern `his' errors? Clear thou me from hidden `faults'.
For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish.

Rom 7:7-14
To what he had said in the former paragraph, the apostle here raises an objection, which he answers very fully: What shall we say then? Is the law sin? When he had been speaking of the dominion of sin, he had said so much of the influence of the law as a covenant upon that dominion that it might easily be misinterpreted as a reflection upon the law, to prevent which he shows from his own experience the great excellency and usefulness of the law, not as a covenant, but as a guide; and further discovers how sin took occasion by the commandment.
