8 Jesus G2424 answered, G611 I have told G2036 you G5213 that G3754 I G1473 am G1510 he: if G1487 therefore G3767 ye seek G2212 me, G1691 let G863 these G5128 go their way: G5217
All we like sheep H6629 have gone astray; H8582 we have turned H6437 every one H376 to his own way; H1870 and the LORD H3068 hath laid H6293 on him the iniquity H5771 of us all.
But G1161 all G3650 this G5124 was done, G1096 that G2443 the scriptures G1124 of the prophets G4396 might be fulfilled. G4137 Then G5119 all G3956 the disciples G3101 forsook G863 him, G846 and fled. G5343
And G2532 they all G3956 forsook G863 him, G846 and fled. G5343 And G2532 there followed G190 him G846 a G1520 certain G5100 young man, G3495 having a linen cloth G4616 cast G4016 about G1909 his naked G1131 body; and G2532 the young men G3495 laid hold G2902 on him: G846 And G1161 he left G2641 the linen cloth, G4616 and fled G5343 from G575 them G846 naked. G1131
And I G2504 give G1325 unto them G846 eternal G166 life; G2222 and G2532 they shall G622 never G3364 G1519 G165 perish, G622 neither G2532 G3756 shall G726 any G5100 man pluck G726 them G846 out of G1537 my G3450 hand. G5495
Now G1161 before G4253 the feast G1859 of the passover, G3957 when Jesus G2424 knew G1492 that G3754 his G846 hour G5610 was come G2064 that G2443 he should depart G3327 out of G1537 this G5127 world G2889 unto G4314 the Father, G3962 having loved G25 his own G2398 which G3588 were in G1722 the world, G2889 he loved G25 them G846 unto G1519 the end. G5056
Behold, G2400 the hour G5610 cometh, G2064 yea, G2532 is G2064 now G3568 come, G2064 that G2443 ye shall be scattered, G4650 every man G1538 to G1519 his own, G2398 and G2532 shall leave G863 me G1691 alone: G3441 and yet G2532 I am G1510 not G3756 alone, G3441 because G3754 the Father G3962 is G2076 with G3326 me. G1700
There hath G2983 no G3756 temptation G3986 taken G2983 you G5209 but G1508 such as is common to man: G442 but G1161 God G2316 is faithful, G4103 who G3739 will G1439 not G3756 suffer G1439 you G5209 to be tempted G3985 above G5228 that G3739 ye are able; G1410 but G235 will G4160 with G4862 the temptation G3986 also G2532 make G4160 a way to escape, G1545 that ye G5209 may be able G1410 to bear G5297 it.
And G2532 he said G2046 unto me, G3427 My G3450 grace G5485 is sufficient G714 for thee: G4671 for G1063 my G3450 strength G1411 is made perfect G5048 in G1722 weakness. G769 Most gladly G2236 therefore G3767 will I G2744 rather G3123 glory G2744 in G1722 my G3450 infirmities, G769 that G2443 the power G1411 of Christ G5547 may rest G1981 upon G1909 me. G1691

Commentary on John 18 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 18
Hitherto this evangelist has recorded little of the history of Christ, only so far as was requisite to introduce his discourses; but now that the time drew nigh that Jesus must die he is very particular in relating the circumstances of his sufferings, and some which the others had omitted, especially his sayings. So far were his followers from being ashamed of his cross, or endeavouring to conceal it, that this was what, both by word and writing, they were most industrious to proclaim, and gloried in it. This chapter relates,
Jhn 18:1-12
The hour was now come that the captain of our salvation, who was to be made perfect by sufferings, should engage the enemy. We have here his entrance upon the encounter. The day of recompence is in his heart, and the year of his redeemed is come, and his own arm works the salvation, for he has no second. Let us turn aside now, and see this great sight.
Jhn 18:13-27
We have here an account of Christ's arraignment before the high priest, and some circumstances that occurred therein which were omitted by the other evangelists; and Peter's denying him, which the other evangelists had given the story of entire by itself, is interwoven with the other passages. The crime laid to his charge having relation to religion, the judges of the spiritual court took it to fall directly under their cognizance. Both Jews and Gentiles seized him, and so both Jews and Gentiles tried and condemned him, for he died for the sins of both. Let us go over the story in order.
Jhn 18:28-40
We have here an account of Christ's arraignment before Pilate, the Roman governor, in the praetorium (a Latin word made Greek), the praetor's house, or hall of judgment; thither they hurried him, to get him condemned in the Roman court, and executed by the Roman power. Being resolved on his death, they took this course,
