13 You shall not have in your bag diverse weights, a great and a small.
A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, But accurate weights are his delight.
"'You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity. Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall you have. I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. You shall observe all my statutes, and all my ordinances, and do them. I am Yahweh.'"
Saying, 'When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may market wheat, Making the ephah small, and the shekel large, And dealing falsely with balances of deceit;
Differing weights and differing measures, Both of them alike are an abomination to Yahweh.
You shall have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath. The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of a homer, and the ephah the tenth part of a homer: the measure of it shall be after the homer.
