12 and Jesus having seen her, did call `her' near, and said to her, `Woman, thou hast been loosed from thy infirmity;'
He sendeth His word and healeth them, And delivereth from their destructions.

And evening having come, they brought to him many demoniacs, and he did cast out the spirits with a word, and did heal all who were ill,
And he himself had known their reasonings, and said to the man having the withered hand, `Rise, and stand in the midst;' and he having risen, stood. Then said Jesus unto them, `I will question you something: Is it lawful on the sabbaths to do good, or to do evil? life to save or to kill?' And having looked round on them all, he said to the man, `Stretch forth thy hand;' and he did so, and his hand was restored whole as the other;

This parable is intended to enforce that word of warning immediately going before, "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish; except you be reformed, you will be ruined, as the barren tree, except it bring forth fruit, will be cut down.'
